Facing unemployment after damaging some flowers, Seymour (Jonathan Haze) presents Audrey Jr, a plant he’d been cultivating at home, to his boss, Gravis Mushnick (Mel Welles). This unusual plant not only saves Seymour’s job but quickly transforms the failing flower shop into a local sensation, attracting customers and the attention of Seymour’s coworker, Audrey Fulquard (Jackie Joseph). However, the seemingly harmless plant soon begins to wilt, leading Seymour to a horrifying realization—the plant needs blood to survive!
