Lights Of Old Santa Fe

In the competitive world of the Wild West, two rival rodeos are vying for bookings. The honest Gabby Whittaker (George “Gabby” Hayes) runs a clean show, but his unscrupulous competitor will do anything to come out on top. When Gabby lands a major booking in Albuquerque, his rival sends men to sabotage the operation, destroying crucial equipment. With the show on the brink of ruin, it’s up to foreman Roy Rogers to figure out what happened. Roy’s sharp eye spots a key clue left at the scene—a broken rawhide rope—and he begins to unravel the plot. Aided by the lovely Marjorie Brooks (Dale Evens) and featuring numerous musical numbers from the Sons of the Pioneers, Roy uses the evidence to bring the villains to justice. This blend of action, music, and western justice makes Lights of Old Santa Fe a classic Roy Rogers adventure.
