Stanley Livingston (Lou Costello), a timid bookworm, gets entangled in a wild escapade devised by his friend Buzz Johnson (Bud Abbott). The pair find themselves deep in the African jungle with explorer Diana Emerson (Hillary Brooke), pretending to be expert hunters on a mission to locate a legendary diamond mine. But things quickly spiral as they encounter wild animals, jungle natives, and other hilarious obstacles on their journey.
