Legendary frontiersman Hawkeye (John Hart) and his blood brother Chingachgook (Lon Chaney Jr.) return to their home in New York’s Mohawk Valley, looking for peace after a long journey west. But peace is short-lived.
Hawkeye’s younger brother, a sergeant in the British army, is entrusted with a critical dispatch calling for reinforcements to the besieged Fort William Henry.
