Ralph Hart (born May 27, 1952) is an American former child actor and writer, best known for his role as Sherman Bagley, the son of Vivian Vance’s character, on the classic 1960s sitcom, The Lucy Show.
From 1962 to 1965, Hart was a regular on one of television’s most popular comedies, playing the precocious son of Lucy Carmichael’s best friend and landlady. During this time, he also became a familiar face in science fiction, appearing in the film The Flight That Disappeared (1961) and in a memorable episode of the classic anthology series The Outer Limits.
His career also included voice work, most notably for the British sci-fi puppet series, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. As a busy young performer during the early 1960s, Hart remains a memorable figure from the golden age of the family sitcom.
