Eve Miller (August 8, 1923 – August 17, 1973) was a beautiful American actress who became a familiar face in a number of Warner Bros. films and popular television shows during the 1950s.
Discovered after performing in a local play, Miller was signed to a studio contract and appeared in over 40 films. She is best remembered for her leading roles in Westerns, starring opposite Kirk Douglas in The Big Trees (1952) and Sterling Hayden in Kansas Pacific (1953). She also had a notable supporting role as the ambitious showgirl who competes with Marilyn Monroe in the classic musical There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954).
Miller was also a prolific television actress, with a recurring role on the series The Further Adventures of Ellery Queen and numerous guest appearances on shows like Perry Mason. Her promising career was cut short when she died under tragic circumstances in 1973 at the age of 50.
