Patrick Wayne (born July 15, 1939) is an American actor who, as the son of legendary screen icon John Wayne, successfully carved out his own distinguished career, appearing in over 40 films, including nine alongside his famous father.

Wayne grew up on the film sets of his father and acclaimed director John Ford. He appeared in many of their classic collaborations, with his most notable role being the young cavalry officer, Lt. Greenhill, in the epic Western The Searchers (1956). He also had a significant supporting role as Devlin Warren in the boisterous comedy McLintock! (1963).

In the 1970s, he established himself as a leading man in his own right, starring as the heroic mariner in the popular fantasy-adventure film Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977) and in the sci-fi epic The People That Time Forgot (1977). In his later career, he hosted the game show Tic-Tac-Dough and has served as the chairman of the John Wayne Cancer Institute, honoring his father’s legacy.
