Eddie Phillips (August 14, 1899 – February 22, 1965) was an American actor who, after a successful career as a handsome leading man in the silent era, transitioned into a prolific character actor, appearing in more than 300 films.

Phillips rose to fame in the 1920s as a romantic lead in silent dramas and comedies, starring in films like The Light of Western Stars (1925) and The Love Toy (1926). With his classic good looks, he was a popular hero for studios like First National and Columbia Pictures.

With the advent of sound, he gracefully moved into supporting and character roles, where he worked consistently for the next three decades.
