The notorious Reno brothers gang terrorizes the region, using the town of Seymour as their hideout, protected by three corrupt officials. James Barlow (Randolph Scott), a cunning operative from the Peterson Detective Agency, goes undercover as an outlaw to infiltrate the gang.
